The school organized a series of talks on the right techniques in answering questions in the PMR examination for the Form 3 students. The subjects chosen for the programme were Pengetahuan Islam, Mathematics, Bahasa Melayu, Geography and English Language.

Pertandingan Forum Remaja Kawasan Melaka Tengah 2

 A total of 7 schools took part in the Pertandingan Forum Remaja organized by Jabatan Pendidikan Daerah Melaka Tengah. The schools which took part were SMK Tinggi Perempuan Melaka, SMK Munshi Abdullah, SMK Agama Sultan Muhammad, SMK Seri Tanjung, SMK Durian Daun, SMK Tun Haji Abdul Malik and SMK Gajah Berang. SMKTPM emerged the runner-up in the competition.

Persatuan Pendidikan Alam Sekitar organized two talks to educate the students on how to protect the environment. The talks were given by officers from Jabatan Alam Sekitar and Southern Waste Management. 

  
Education Officers from New Zealand Visit SMKTPM 

Education officers from New Zealand made a friendly visit to our school on 5 June 1999. They were taken on a tour of the school. They felt impressed with the educational facilities here. 
  

Welcome Lower Six Students to SMKTPM 

Students who qualified for entrance to Lower Six reported to the school on 5 July 1999. The Upper Six students organized a Minggu Suai Mesra Tingkatan 6 Rendah to welcome them to SMKTPM.
